Nicole Richie is a celebrity known for her great daytime style and the outfit pictured here is no exception. Nicole is currently pregnant with her 2nd child yet her body is about the size of one of my thighs. Not depressing at all. Anyhow, let's get to work on this fab outift!
I really like the sparrow pattern on Nicole's dress and I was able to find a dress with a similar pattern from Urbanoutfitters.com. The price isn't the greatest but let's raise the bar and see if we can get everything for under $150.
You can practically buy leggings anywhere but I found these ones for $8 at Walmart.com. I rely on Walmart for their cheap basics like hooded sweatshirts and men's tanks. It also helps that there's a McDonalds inside.
Use this bleach washed denim vest from Forever21.com to give the outfit a more summertime vibe. I think the color of the vest and the salmon dress make a great combo.
Top with these boots from Alloy.com. Depending on the weather, you can lose the tights and rock the boots alone. I actually have these in black and they're so comfy and great for the work week or the weekend. Plus they're only $19.99!
Did we get the look for under $150? We shall see: dress ($88), leggings ($8), vest ($22.90), boots ($19.99). Grand total: $138.89. Goal accomplished, now use that extra dough to buy a cookie for being such a thrifty fashionista!
